Pauline has been caring for and teaching families since 1986. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Pauline holds dual masters in Science and Public Health Administration.
Her nursing career began in the field of Pediatrics and Maternal-Child Health. After leaving hospital nursing, she entered into the field of education and became a Clinical Nursing Professor of Maternal-Child Health, Pediatrics and Community/Public Health. Pauline is President of the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland Lactation Consortium and is dedicated to the protection, promotion, and support of breastfeeding in the tri-county area.
Pauline offers a comprehensive lactation consultation service and sees families with all levels of breastfeeding issues. Integrative lactation and Family Health addresses a full range of physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual and environmental influences that affect the breastfeeding relationship.
Integrative Lactation and Family Health has a sister company, Birthing Wisdom™, LLC. Birthing Wisdom offers an array of childbirth and parenting classes. Childbirth classes include a Natural Childbirth Class and HypnoBirthing®-The Mongan Method. Parenting classes include Infant/Child CPR, Choking & Safety, Baby Care, Breastfeeding, Starting Solids, Caring for a Sick Child and Infant Massage.
